Dorm Room Fund is the original student venture fund. DRF helps college, masters, and PhD student founders from day 0 with capital, expert advice, and the power of the DRF community: a family of VCs, fellow builders, and talented operators who have founders’ backs. Our model is unique: we train top student investing talent at universities across the country to identify and directly invest in their most impressive peers even before founders reach traditional channels— when they’re still building in their dorm rooms, and before other investors can find them. DRF student investment partners graduate to become unicorn founders; VCs at funds like a16z, Sequoia, and Bessemer; and operators at the best companies in the world.
At DRF, the sky is the limit. Interning at DRF is a unique opportunity to hone your technical skills and work on real-world products that help create companies. You will be part of an incredible community of 400+ entrepreneurs, operators, and innovators who support each other’s businesses, careers, and ambitions. We will be working with our Prod & Eng Partner to receive academic credit for your work. If you’re interested in building your portfolio, training up on how to build products to support founders, all while you get to know a ton of great builders & investors, we highly recommend you apply.
DRF is seeking an active, full-time student enrolled in an accredited academic institution to join our Engineering team as a Product & Engineering Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying problems-to-solve for DRF founders and building software to solve those problems in order to better serve student entrepreneurs and partners at DRF. You will work closely with the team to bring ideas to life and contribute to the development of real-world products that help founders.
